4.HDR hotel meade: created an HDR file in Dynamic Photo; tone map; ultra-contrast; dramatic light radius; color equalizer
5.extra HDR masonic temple: created an HDR file in Dynamic Photo; tone map; ultra-contrast; dramatic light radius; color equalizer; curves

For our editing assignment this week we had to download Dynamic Photo and got to play with HDR. HDR is incredible! I had a lot of fun experimenting with it on a few pictures over the weekend and these were my favorite two. I found quite often that on a lot of the effects I liked the preset settings better than when I tried changing them. I found that the methods were really fun to play with though ultra-contrast was probably my favorite and I used it the most.

  1. I really like how the sky pops out and the color that's focused on the foreground. Really good use of angle on a common subject matter.

  2. I love your HDR's! They feel like a perfect paring. It almost feels like a good versus evil thing is going on, because of how bright and colorful the hotel is and how high contrast and ominous the Mason Lodge is. I also love how they are at about the same angle, but opposite. Awsome shots!

  3. The HDR's look so good! I love the color and the angle of them. The Mason Temple looks so scary. It looks like something bad is going to happen. I love them good job!

  4. Cool HDR's the Hotel Meade is such a good jubject for HDR because of its great colors. I agree with Kenzie, the masonic temple does look pretty scary. It is like something from a horror movie.
